Food and Accomodation
During your stay with us at AkaalYog Yoga School at Rishikesh, you will satisfy your all six tastes with Yogic Indian sattvik food. Which is not only super delicious but also super healthy and designed to give all nutritional values to your body , which yogis need to have while undergoing regorious
yog asana practices. We serve three meals a day, which includes light food in the morning as breakfast and full heavy meals for lunch and dinner. Food is cooked with special affection based on traditional Indian techniques, which are famous all over the world. As we understand the dietry needs of our students, hence, if
any student has some allergies or disallowance for any specific food type, we respect their need and arrange a suitable item.
The goal is to offer quality nutritious food for smooth functioning of the body and cleanse the system internally, which is highly needed for the yoga training courses. Also the easy availability of filtered water both for the yoga hall and yoga rooms are available to keep yourself hydrated.
All the vegetables and fruits are procured from the fresh farms which ensures the quality and intactly maintains the nutrient component.
We provide a comfortable and spacious accomodation to our students, whereby they can enjoy their stay with us in full comfort and peace. Our rooms are hygenically cleaned and well maintained. Lights , Air and Sunligts are taken care of. Beds and Mattresses are of best qualitiy to give you a sense of tranquility while sleeping or resting. Private and clean washrooms with 24/7 hot water facilities. Free WiFi access to connect with their loved ones , any day and time. The ambiance is full of nature and greenery. Students can enjoy the place , in their free moments and feel it like a home.
We have two options: Accommodation in a single room and Accommodation in a shared room. The rooms are distributed in order of reservation. Single rooms tend to run out earlier.
Yes, you can stay for an extra day before or after the course only if there is an availability of accommodation. Also, your extra stay will be chargeable. For more information, you can contact us prior to your arrival and we will do the needful to help you out.
Yes, thats entirely possible. But first you have to communicate with us on this particular information. Your guests are our guests, we only ask that you follow the rules of the school, with you being the ultimate responsible for the conduct of that person.

Travel and Stay
Yes. Anyone who wants to enter the country needs a visa. It is usually a very easy procedure that varies depending on the country.
It is advisable to arrive one day in advance. Lunch and dinner for that day are included in the cost of the course. Also included in the price is the accommodation and breakfast the day after the closing ceremony.
Yes, cab services are also offered on a chargeable basis. Please contact the Reception desk if you need it.
India is a very safe country. You will meet curious, friendly, welcoming and helpful people. You can go for a walk, do shopping or visit places without any problem. With regard to female tourists, it is not necessary to take any special measures beyond common sense and adaptation to the culture of the country you are visiting.
India has good hospitals and doctors who can be contacted, if necessary. Please contact the Reception desk for further assistance
Yes, you can bring a good mosquito repellent. It is also available in India without any problem.
Course and Certifications
In order to maintain the quality and attention necessary for each of our students, we limit our students batch to a maximum of 30 students per batch.

The certificate issued by AkaalYog is duly based on standards and minimum training program by Yoga Alliance USA and Yoga Alliance International. It is a globally recognized certificate in the yoga community that will also enable you to teach in your hometown.
After the completion of the course, you will be certified with our duly authenticated completion certificate, so definitely you will be able to teach. But we would suggest you to practice as much as you can even after the completion of the training. In order to get the very essence of Yoga, years and years of effort is required. You can also apply for yoga instructor jobs at your hometown or other places to better yourself in the art of teaching.
It is always a good idea to consult with your general practitioner before arriving for the course. Our free consultation session with our trainers will also be helpful where you can discuss your issues and get the necessary help. In case you are suffering from a condition, our trainers will take the necessary steps to tweak the practice to suit your needs and make you comfortable.
Our retreat programs are specially designed for utmost inner relaxation and peace of mind. Considering the other schools working in Rishikesh, our YTTC and respective retreats are extremely reasonable and fairly priced.
We include local excursions and expeditions for our yoga retreat Sessions. You can encounter the gifts of the well known Ganga Aarti of Rishikesh. Additionally, we have included adventure activities, for example, Rafting, Camping, and Trekking in our yoga retreat program.
Bookings and Payments
At the time of making the reservation it is necessary to pay $ 200, the remaining amount will be paid during the first day of the course by cash or by direct transfer in bank account. For payments by credit card or PayPal or western union, an additional 5% is charged as commissions.
The cost of the course includes everything except for personal expenses and flights. Accommodation, three daily meals, tea and filtered water, course material, excursions organized by the school and training. Air Conditioner shall be provided on additional charges.
Once booked, you can take the course whenever you want during next six months.
The booking amount of $ 200 is non-refundable. In case you have to cancel your booking, don’t be worried. The booking amount will be valid for a period of six months. You can always come back any time during that period to take part in any of our courses without the need to pay any deposit amount again.
Availment of Discounts
This discount is general and available for everyone. it is available, while booking for any course or retreat in advance. To avail this discount one must apply atleast 30 days before of the respective course or retreat. For any further information on the same, student should contact the School.
This discount is available to you, if you wish to bring someone along with you in the same course. We provide extra 10% discount on your fee, in full and final payment you made at the Reception Desk, during your attendence at the course.
This discount is available subject to the condition that your tag along second person has also paid his/her advance deposit. If due to any circumstances , this friend of yours does'nt appear in the course, then , this discount shall not be available to you.
This discount is only for the claiment and not for both the person. Tag along person shall be considered as a normal guest and won't avail any extra discount.
This discount is available to you, if you are planning to come to attend the course alongwith 5 or more other different person. In such scenerio, you would be eligible for 50% direct discount in you total fee , while making full and final payment at the Reception Desk, during your attendence at the course.
This discount is available subject to the condition that other group person(s) have already deposited their advance fee for the respective same course. If due to any circumstances , any of these group friend(s) of yours does'nt appear in the course, then , this discount shall not be fully available to you.
Decision of the school management shall be final, while granting the discount on any of above scenerios.
General Terms & Conditions
● It is always expected and advised to the students to follow the general instructions of the master(s), teachers in relation with stay, food, general hygiene, discipline during their stay at the Ashram.
● It is advised to students, not to intake any Alcohol, tobacco, smoking and other illicit drugs or intoxicants, outside material or substance etc. which may negatively impact the health of the student or hamper the sacredness/ serenity/environment of the ashram. In case, you smoke, you need to take prior permission before registering for the course.
● TTC students must understand the results of the training program cannot be guaranteed
and your progress depends on your efforts during, in and outside the class. Individual
results may vary from person to person.
● No friends or relatives or outsiders are allowed to stay with yoga participants without
prior permission from the management. Also, students are not advised to bunk their stays in ashram or leaving the premises without informing the duty Manager, during their continuation of the course.
● All TTC students are requested to be punctual on the TTC timetable and to attend all
yoga course classes with diligence.
● Our course payments are pre contracted. In any circumstance, the fees are
non-refundable and non-transferrable, unless the course is cancelled by the school. The
fees are also non-negotiable.
● You are earnestly requested to kindly respect your fellow students and teachers and the
Indian culture.
● The management reserves the right to terminate/ expel any students who do not abide
by the above rules or are disruptive or abusive to the school, teachers or other students. (which may include, by way of example, violence, excessive use of bad language, threatening behavior or inappropriate sexual activities). In the event of a student being expelled due to a breach of the rules, no refund of fees shall be given.
● Please ensure you read and understand the above terms and conditions which are to be
followed by all students and acts as a contract once the deposit of $200 is paid.
· Any query, argument, or dispute related with course, fee, stay etc. shall be resolved by the final decision of the management of the school.
